Facial Redness and Rosacea Treatment in Beirut Lebanon

  • Facial redness, broken capillaries on the cheeks, and visible spider veins can occur around the nose and along the T-zone of the face including the forehead, cheeks, chin, and neck. Although this is a benign condition caused by rosacea, skin inflammation, or sun damage, it can be a visible problem with cosmetic implications.

    Broken Blood Vessels

Facial redness can occur as a result of genetic influences, excessive sun exposure, extreme temperatures, certain foods, mechanical abrasion of the skin, and the influence of estrogen replacement therapy. These cumulative risk factors can cause broken blood vessels to form underneath the skin, inflammation of the epidermis epidermis, and sensitivity and reactivity to environmental influences.

    Rosacea

Rosacea is a common skin problem that occurs in all skin types, regardless of skin color and tone. The condition is benign and is caused by inflammation of the skin that results in excessive facial redness, broken blood vessels, and skin sensitivity. These blood vessels form a reddish you on the skin, especially on the cheeks, chin, and forehead. We often use lasers to combat these skin conditions and reduce the overall redness.

Broken blood vessels around the nose and on the face can also be treated with a combination of sclerotherapy and laser therapy to reduce the amount of skin inflammation and illuminate broken blood vessels. At Kare Beirut plastic surgery center, we have multiple cosmetic surgery lasers that can reduce facial redness, broken blood vessels, skin pigmentation, and skin inflammation. We would combine these lasers and skin treatments with Melapads to help reduce the sebum in the skin and also exfoliate debris and toxins from clogged pores.

    Hyperpigmentation and Sunspots

If you also have sun damage and solar antigens, age spots, and skin pigmentation, you may also may be a candidate for chemical peels and skin exfoliation to reduce the amount of melanin within the skin. Abnormal melanin can cause blotchiness of the skin, regardless of skin type, leading to an irregular pattern of skin pigmentation. This usually occurs during pregnancy, childbirth, excessive sun exposure, and hormonal influences. Dr. Karamanoukian is a specialist in skin pigmentation and abnormal scar pigmentation and has methods to improve the skin tone and quality.
